Hola Minions!

My guest today on the Man vs. Art Podcast is a legendary animator whose signature technique and dazzling visuals have been tickling your animation cockles for over 25 years.
“Your Face” which garnered a 1987 Oscar nomination for best animated short.
“How to Kiss,” “25 Ways to Quit Smoking”, and most recently “The Guard Dog” He has also produced a string of awesome  feature length animated  films, ” The Tune”, “I Married a Strange Person“, “Mutant Aliens”, and ” Hair High”.
But we’re here to talk about his most recent project:
“Idiots and Angels” is a dark comedy about a man’s battle for his soul.

Of course I’m speaking of the King of Independent animation, the one and only Mr. Bill Plympton! Jim Lujan and I had a wonderful time talking to Bill and we learned alot about being an independent animator.  Sit back enjoy the podcast and get your butt to a screening of Bill’s latest release Idiots and Angels.

Short synopsis:
“Idiots and Angels” is a dark comedy about a man’s battle for his soul.

“Idiots and Angels” will then open at the Laemmle Sunset 5 Theater in Los Angeles on October 29. Bill Plympton will make appearances at the opening night screenings. Laemmle’s Sunset 5 is located at 8000 Sunset Blvd. in West Hollywood. Ticket prices are $11 general admission, $8 for seniors and children.  Box office 310-478-3836

In conjunction with the Los Angeles screening, Bill Plympton will make several appearances in the L.A. area, including an ASIFA event, “Tom Sito’s Evening with Bill Plympton” on Oct. 27 at Woodbury College, a signing at Amoeba Music in Hollywood on Oct. 28 at 8 pm, and an appearance at Dark Delicacies Bookstore in Burbank on October 31, 2-4 pm.
