Krishna M. Sadasivam Professional Illustrator. Cartoonist. Design Ninja.

Krishna by Krishna

Krishna earned a B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee. It was there, he discovered he was a computer geek.

After several years in the  engineering world Krishna bailed to follow his life-long dream of going back to school for a formal education in art. He earned an M.F.A. in Animation from the Savannah College of Art & Design.

Currently, Krishna serves as a full-time instructor within the Media Arts and Animation department at the Art Institute of Tampa. When he’s not busy teaching, he spends a considerable amount of time as a professional cartoonist / illustrator.  When he’s not creating comics, Krishna spends much of his time with his wife Aarti and daughter Sonia. His other hobbies include reading comics, cycling, Macintosh computing and playing guitar. Krishna wants to let the world know that he is an avid Power Man & Iron Fist fan.

Krishna’s web comic PC Weenies has appeared online since October 1998 and is geared towards technology enthusiasts, engineers, systems administrators / IT, and software developers.
It’s smart, funny, and very well drawn!

On today’s show Krishna shares the origins of PC Weenies as well as some of his techniques with us.  Krishna also gave us some solid tech advice to all artists. Specifically, he shared the importance of working with dual monitors! Check out his post on dual monitors.

We also talked about teaching art and animation and how much inspiration we as instructors get from our students! Seriously!

Krishna is an extremely talented and creative artist.  He works hard at his desk and it shows.  Plus he’s a cool cat man! I had a killer time chatting it up with him!

Ed Kubilinskas  at Overnight PC Repair really came through in a pinch for me!

My PC’s power supply had been on failing for a few days and last Saturday night it died completely. I couldn’t get the computer to switch on at all!  I had a deadline to meet and was losing my mind! I called Ed up at about 8pm and he told me to bring it over the next morning. I drove up to his Woodland Hills workshop and he replaced my power supply and had my computer running within 30 minutes!  ON A SUNDAY!

He was a total professional and had no problem getting to the root of my problem! I was able to get home and finish up my project and make the Monday morning deadline!

The price was right, the service was excellent and convenient! Thank you Ed at Overnight PC Repair! I highly recommend anyone in the Los Angeles Area with a PC or Laptop problem to go to Ed!  I’m glad I did!
