Mark Evanier Is an American TV, Animation, and Comic Book Writer. He is best known for his collaboration with Sergio Aragonés on Groo the Wanderer, but also as head writer and voice director of animated series including, Dungeons & Dragons, Garfield and Friends, The Garfield Show, Thundarr the Barbarian, and Scooby-Doo to name a few. Mark is an outspoken proponent and defender of Jack Kirby’s legacy and is the foremost authority on Jack Kirby’s work. Mark took a few minutes to chat with me on today’s show and I hope you enjoy it!
